A Share Group lets two teams share read-only, anonymized job history with each other. Sharing is always mutual, and both teams share on identical terms.

Who can do this: Owners only, in Settings > Share Group.

Invite a partner team

  1. Go to Settings > Share Group.

  2. Copy Your team ID with Copy and send it to your partner, or ask them for theirs.

  3. In the Invite a team card, paste the ID into Partner team ID.

  4. Under Surfaces, keep Chat and Triage selected (both are on by default). You must select at least one.

  5. Leave Anonymize shared jobs on to remove customer and technician contact details from shared jobs. It is on by default. If you turn it off, the shared jobs show full details.

  6. Select Send invite, read the Confirm mutual sharing message and select I understand, confirm.

Nothing is shared until your partner accepts.

Accept or decline an invite

Invites you receive appear under Invites received. Select Accept and confirm, or Decline. When active, you see Sharing is now active.

Cancel

  • Withdraw a pending invite from Invites sent with Cancel invite.

  • End active sharing from Active with Cancel sharing, then confirm Cancel sharing?. This immediately revokes access for both teams. To resume, you need to send a fresh invite.

Good to know

  • Shared jobs are read-only.

  • A partner's job cited in an Iven chat answer appears as a source marked Shared.

  • If a shared job shows Job not available, it may not exist or may no longer be shared with your team.

Troubleshooting

  • Partner team ID is required. Paste the partner's ID.

  • A team cannot share with itself. Use the other team's ID, not yours.

  • Select at least one surface. Choose Chat, Triage or both.

  • Unable to send the invite. Check the ID and try again, or contact Aiventic support.
