The Pricing tab calculates a price for a job once it has been triaged. You can adjust it for that job, then confirm it.
Who can do this: Owners, Service Managers and Technicians can all use the Pricing tab on jobs they can open.
Calculate pricing
Open the job. If it isn't triaged, the tab says Job is not triaged. Click Go to "Triage" tab and generate the service plan first.
Back on Pricing, if you see No pricing yet, click Calculate pricing.
Review the Pricing breakdown.
Edit pricing for this job
Click Edit (on a phone, Edit pricing) to open Edit pricing. Changes apply to this job only.
Change amounts or add a charge with + Add charge.
Click Save new pricing. Click Cancel to close without saving. If you have unsaved changes you'll be asked to Discard changes.
Once you've changed values, a Revert to original button appears. It asks Reset to AI-calculated pricing? and, if you confirm, removes your manual adjustments.
Check the customer view and confirm
Click Customer view to see what the customer would see (Price details, Your total today, This includes:).
Click Confirm pricing.
Confirm the prompt Are you sure you want to confirm this pricing? Once confirmed - it cannot be undone.
You'll see The job has been confirmed. and the breakdown shows a Confirmed badge.
Good to know
Confirming can't be undone.
How prices are calculated (service charge, labor, parts markup, taxes) is set by owners in Settings > Quote pricing.
Troubleshooting
Could not load pricing: refresh the page and try again. If it continues, contact Aiventic support.
