The service charge is the flat fee added to every job before labor and parts. Brand multipliers raise the service, labor or parts price for specific brands. Both are on the Pricing settings tab.
Who can do this: Owners only, with an active subscription.
Set the service charge
Go to Settings > Quote pricing > Pricing settings.
Select Edit.
Under Service Charge, enter the Charge amount. It covers the technician's trip to the customer location, initial diagnosis and basic costs. It can't be negative.
Optional: switch on Waive service charge when repair is completed. The service charge then appears as $0 to the customer. The amount is added to the labor price instead, so the job total doesn't change.
Select Save changes.
The Job Rate Formula box shows how a total is built: service charge + job type (labor) + parts price.
Set brand multipliers
On the same tab, select Edit and find Brand Multipliers.
Select Add brand, then choose a brand with Select brand. The list shows brands for your team's industries, and each brand can be added once.
Enter a multiplier in Service (x), Labor (x) and Parts (x). Each one has its own switch. Leave a switch off to keep that part at the base rate.
Select Save changes.
A multiplier must be 1 or higher, so a brand multiplier can raise a price but not lower it. Brands without a multiplier use the base rate (x1.00). To delete a brand's row, use the trash button (Remove brand).
What each multiplier does
Service (x) multiplies the service charge on jobs for that brand.
Labor (x) multiplies the job type (labor) price.
Parts (x) multiplies the parts price.
Aiventic matches the multiplier to the brand of the unit on the job.
Good to know
Parts multipliers don't apply while parts are priced from supplier retail. Your values are kept and apply again if Pricing mode goes back to Account (Wholesale).
The Your quote price on the Parts page doesn't include brand multipliers, because no job or brand is involved there.
There is no separate hourly labor rate. Labor is set through job types (labor levels) and the Labor (x) multiplier.
If the brand list is empty, your team's industries aren't set. Contact Aiventic support.
