How seats work

Seats used equals active members plus pending invitations; deactivated members do not use a seat.

A seat is one place on your team. Seats used equals your active members plus your pending invitations. Deactivated members do not use a seat.

Who can do this: Owners see the seat count in Settings > Team.

What uses a seat

  • Each active member uses a seat.

  • Each invitation that has not been accepted yet uses a seat.

  • Deactivated members do not use a seat.

Where to see your seats

In Settings > Team, the Invite team members card shows a badge such as "{used} of {total} seats used".

When all seats are taken

The invite form is replaced with: Every seat on your plan is taken. Remove a member or cancel a pending invitation to free one up, or move to a larger plan.

To free a seat, you can:

  • Cancel a pending invitation in the Pending invitations card.

  • Deactivate a member from the member's actions menu.

  • Remove an inactive member.

To add more seats, contact Aiventic support. Seat counts and plans are set up by Aiventic and are not changed with a button in the app.

Good to know

  • Reactivating a deactivated member needs a free seat.

  • If someone you invited cannot log in and sees Failed to send code, your team may have no free seat. Free a seat, then ask them to try again.

  • Inviting people also needs an active subscription.
