Iven shows the sources behind an answer. Look for Sources reviewed under the answer, or use the Manuals and Sources buttons at the top right of the chat.
Who can do this: Any team member in the chat.
Sources under an answer
Find Sources reviewed with a number under Iven's answer. With five or more sources it starts collapsed. Click the heading to expand or collapse it.
Sources are grouped as Manuals, Past Jobs, Handbook & Policy and Parts Catalog.
Click the link on a row: Open manual opens the cited page in the side panel, Open job opens the job, Open handbook opens the handbook, and Parts List opens the parts.
Some shared jobs do not show Open job.
Manuals and Sources panels
In the chat header, click Manuals to see manuals for the chat's brand and model, or Sources to see sources used in this chat. On narrow screens only icons show.
The Knowledge base panel opens on the right with a list.
Click an item to preview the PDF.
Click the back arrow (Go back to list) to return to the list, or the X (Close knowledge base) to close the panel.
Why a button is missing
Manuals only shows when manuals exist for the chat's brand and model. If the chat is set to All Models, choose a specific model.
Sources only shows when the chat has sources.
If the Knowledge base panel says Manuals not available for "All models" contexts., choose a specific model. To display manuals - select chat context to have means no brand and model is set. There are no manuals for selected context means none exist for that unit yet.
PDF only manuals
A manual in the list may show a PDF only label. Hover over it to see: Aiventic can't answer questions from this file yet. You can still open and read it. Iven cannot use that file for answers, but you can read it yourself.
