What does "PDF only" mean?

A PDF only manual is one Iven can't answer questions from yet. You can still open and read it.

PDF only means Iven cannot answer questions from that file yet. You can still open, read and download it in the Manual library.

Where you see it

  • In the Manual library, as a PDF only label on the manual's row (hover over it for an explanation).

  • On a manual in the chat's Manuals panel, as the note Aiventic can't answer questions from this file yet. You can still open and read it.

  • In the manual's details panel, as the same note.

What it means for you

  • Not every document in the library is something Iven can search and quote from.

  • If you ask Iven about a unit and the answer seems thin, the manual you need may be PDF only. Open it from the library and read it yourself.

  • The label is about Iven's answers. It does not mean the file is damaged or incomplete.

Can I change it?

You cannot change this yourself. If a PDF only manual is important for your work, use Suggest a change on the manual to tell Aiventic, or contact Aiventic support.
