The Service Fusion integration pulls jobs from your Service Fusion account into Aiventic. Once your jobs are in, Iven can use them to triage upcoming calls and answer questions about past work on the same customer or equipment.
What you can do with it
See your Service Fusion jobs in My Jobs in Aiventic.
Let Iven triage upcoming jobs using the equipment and notes on the job.
Ask Iven about a customer's or unit's earlier jobs.
What syncs
Aiventic reads this data from Service Fusion:
Jobs: job number, description, status, priority, category, scheduled and completion dates, technician notes and completion notes, and the parts and products listed on the job
Customers: name, account number, and contact names, phone numbers and emails
Service address of each job
Equipment on the job: type, make, model, serial number, install and warranty dates, location and notes
Technicians: names, email, phone, title, and who is assigned to each job
Aiventic only reads from Service Fusion. It does not create or edit anything in your Service Fusion account. Jobs without a job number are skipped.
Jobs sync automatically. Service Fusion has no Synchronization Start Date field. On the first sync, Aiventic imports jobs updated in about the past year by default. After that it keeps checking recent changes. If you need older history, contact Aiventic support.
Before you start
Who can do this: Owners only, with an active subscription.
You need two values from Service Fusion, the Client ID and Client Secret for your own Service Fusion API app. Ask your Service Fusion administrator or Service Fusion support for these details, and ask them whether anything has to be registered on the Service Fusion side before you connect.
Connect Service Fusion to Aiventic
Go to Settings > Integrations.
Under Available integrations, find Service Fusion and select View integration.
Enter your Client ID and Client Secret.
Select Connect. Aiventic saves the details and sends you to Service Fusion's own page.
Sign in and approve access.
You return to Aiventic, which shows "Connecting..." and then Integration successful.
Select View integrations.
Both fields are required. The Client Secret is not shown again after you save it.
After you connect
The first sync starts automatically. Jobs appear in My Jobs once they have synced.
Link your Service Fusion technicians to Aiventic users in Data Hub > Jobs > Technicians so each person sees their own jobs.
To connect more than one Service Fusion account, use Add connection, give it a name such as "East region", and select Add. Each connection has its own Client ID, Client Secret and sign-in.
To refresh access later, open the card and select Reconnect. To pause, use the switch on the card.
Troubleshooting
Integration failed with "Try again or contact support": select Go back, check the Client ID and Client Secret, and try again. This also appears if you decline access on Service Fusion's page.
Could not start the connection. Please try again.: try again. If it keeps happening, contact Aiventic support.
Changed the Client ID or Client Secret: you must select Reconnect and approve access again.
Saved the Client ID and Client Secret but never finished approving on Service Fusion: the card does not show as connected. Select View integration and then Connect.
No jobs showing: wait for the first sync. If jobs are still missing, contact Aiventic support.
