Connect your Fieldpoint account to Aiventic and your Fieldpoint work orders are pulled into Aiventic as jobs. Iven can then use them for triage and for answering questions about your job history. In the Aiventic app, the card is labelled Field Point.
Who can do this: Owners only, with an active subscription.
What you can do with it
See your Fieldpoint work orders as jobs in My Jobs.
Get an AI-generated service plan (triage) on jobs that come in from Fieldpoint.
Ask Iven about a job, including the problem notes and solution notes recorded in Fieldpoint.
What syncs
Aiventic reads work orders from Fieldpoint. For each one it brings in:
Work order number and status.
Description, problem notes and solution notes.
Start, completion and due dates. The start date is used as the job's scheduled date.
Customer name, phone, email and service address.
Assigned technician (shown as the identifier Fieldpoint holds for them).
Equipment type, model, serial number and product line (used as the brand).
Aiventic only reads from Fieldpoint. It does not create or edit work orders. Parts used are not imported from Fieldpoint. This connection has no Synchronization Start Date, so Aiventic reads the work orders Fieldpoint returns, not just a recent window.
Before you start
You need these details, as labelled in the Aiventic window:
Base URL: the web address of your Fieldpoint site, for example https://yourtenant.fieldpointonline.com. It must start with https://.
Username and Password of a Fieldpoint account Aiventic can use. A plain password or the encrypted password from the Fieldpoint portal both work.
Optional: Work-order transfer name and Work-order number filters. Leave both blank unless Fieldpoint support told you to change them.
Ask your Fieldpoint administrator or Fieldpoint support for these details.
Connect Fieldpoint to Aiventic
Go to Settings > Integrations.
Under Available integrations, find Field Point and select View integration.
In the Connect Field Point with aiventic window, fill in Base URL, Username and Password.
Optional: select Run test. Aiventic tries to read one work order with your details, without saving them.
Select Connect.
When you see Integration successful, select View integrations.
After you connect
Jobs sync automatically. If you have questions about timing, contact Aiventic support.
Link your technicians to their Aiventic accounts so each person sees their own jobs. See "Link technicians to user accounts".
Choose which job statuses count as active in the jobs settings.
To connect a second Fieldpoint account, select Add connection and name it, for example "East region".
Troubleshooting
Connection test for FieldPoint has failed: check that the Base URL starts with https:// and has no typos, and re-enter the username and password. Aiventic shows this message for any failed test.
Base URL must not be empty. (or Username, Password): a required field is blank. Fill it in.
Integration failed with "Try again or contact support": select Go back and check your details. If you entered work-order number filters, use comma-separated values with no blanks, no repeats and no %, _ or * characters.
Some work orders are missing: contact Aiventic support.
